REDCAR ROCKS FESTIVAL COMEDY STAGE

PHIL NICHOL-the canadian comedian abandoned the familiar stand up routine in favour of a over the top music/comedy show.He takes to the stage with slicked back hair a wide smile and acoustic guitar slung over his shoulder. He devoted the act to his 90's hit 'the only gay eskimo' doing everything he can to goad his audience and makes himself automatically likeable to the crowd who certainly lapped him up-VERY FUNNY
VIKKI STONE-Funny-well from a womans point of view !!!
ROB ROUSE-Top man well worth the entrance money on his own!!

Well done to the organisers top comedy line up for this first festival hope its back next year

The REVOLUTIONAIRES-Redcar Jazz Club February 5 2011

Established within the ‘hotbed’ of the North East music scene in the UK, they power out jumpin’ hot rhythm & blues in their own indomitable hard hitting style.Primarily, they are influenced by 1940’s and 1950’s R&B. On this occasion they lived up to their explosive reputation and delivered an energetic set including hits from Louis Jordan thro to Frankie Ford
and they certainly filled the big stage at Coatham Memorial Hall,a great band,a great venue,a great atmosphere-A GREAT NIGHT!
