GARY GIBSON JOHN LENNON TRIBUTE 8/7/09

Went to see Gary Gibson John Lennon tribute act for a guy who-to quote his website 'the worlds most acclaimed John Lennon artiste' i dont think he lived up to his reputation.Although bearing an uncanny likness to Lennon he just didnt deliver the performance that was expected,although not a bad show allround im sure many were dissapointed and maybe you should try and catch him with his full show and band The John Lennon Experience

some great performances from all the bands but eventual winners soviet disco seemed to stand out from the rest giving a polished performance that had there supporters on the dance floor other highlights were best young band winners up in smoke and what happened to ska band one-two
